ABOUT ME

My research interests at Vanderbilt University encompass molecular endocrinology, drug discovery, and protein design. I specialize in investigating these research areas using both computational methods and modern experimental techniques. My thesis project in the Walker lab involves a three-fold approach to antibody mimetic design: molecular modeling, directed evolution, and machine-learning. The goal of this research is to establish faster and more efficient workflows for targeting sites relevant to metabolic disease, beginning with the human glucagon receptor.
